HOW IT WORKS

Seven business days. Four steps. One form.

You fill in one form. We build the site. You check it on your phone and tell us what to change. It goes live on an account in your name. That's the whole process. Here's what each step actually involves, how long it takes, and what we need from you.

  1. 1

Step 1: Fill in one form about your business

Takes you about 20 minutes. Starts the clock.

The form asks the things a customer would ask you. What you do. Where you work. What jobs you want more of. Whether you do emergency callouts, whether you quote for free, how long you've been going. Plain questions, plain answers. Type the way you'd talk to a customer on the phone. We'll tidy it up.

Then you send us photos of your work. Ten to twenty is plenty. Phone photos are fine, and better than stock, because they're yours. If you've got a logo, send that too. If you don't, see the checklist below.

The seven business days start when we have your completed form and your photos. Not before. A half-filled form with "will send photos later" doesn't start anything, and that's the most common reason a site takes longer than a week.

From you at this step: the form, your photos, your logo if you have one. About 20 minutes of typing and a few minutes finding photos.

  2. 2

    Step 2: We build it

Three to four business days. Nothing needed from you.

We write five pages for your trade and your area: Home, About, Services, Projects and Contact. The words come from your form, not a template with the business name swapped in. A Geelong plumber's site reads like a Geelong plumber's site, not a generic one with "Geelong" typed in twice.

We put tap-to-call and tap-to-text on every page, build a quote form that lands in your inbox, and lay the pages out around your photos. Then we set the site up so Google and AI search can find it: page titles, descriptions and structured data that say who you are, what you do and where.

We build it to load in under a second on a phone, because that's where your customers are looking.

From you at this step: nothing. We might message you with one or two questions. That's it.

  3. 3

Step 3: You check it on your phone and tell us what to change

One to two business days. The pace here is up to you.

We send you a link. Open it on your phone, not a laptop, because your customers won't be on a laptop. Read every page. Check the phone number, the suburbs, the services, the prices if you list them. Tap the call button and make sure it rings you.

Then tell us what to change. Send it however's easiest: a Messenger voice note, a list, screenshots with circles on them. "Change the second photo, my number's wrong, add gutter cleaning to services." We fix it and send it back.

Changes to the draft are part of the build. They're not billed as edits. That said, the fastest sites go live because the owner sent one clear list, not seven messages over five days. If you sit on the draft for a week, the site sits with it.

From you at this step: ten minutes reading it properly on your phone, then one list of changes. Or "looks good, put it up".

  4. 4

Step 4: It goes live on your own account

Same day, once you say go.

The site goes onto a free Cloudflare account in your name. If you don't have one, we walk you through setting it up. It takes five minutes and needs an email address you control. We're added as an admin so we can do edits. You can remove us any time.

If you already have a domain, we point it at the new site. If you don't, we register one in your name for $90 plus the cost of the name, usually about $15 a year, paid by you to the registrar.

Then it's live. Your domain, your hosting, your site. If we vanished tomorrow, it'd still be there. From this point you've got 30 days of small edits at no charge, so if you spot a typo or want a photo swapped after launch, just message us.

From you at this step: five minutes to set up the account, and a reply saying "go".

What to have ready before you start

None of this is hard. Having it in one place before you fill in the form is the difference between seven days and twelve.

  • Photos of your work. Ten to twenty, from your phone. Finished jobs, your van, your crew, you on site. The more real, the better.
  • Your business details. ABN, trading name, licence numbers if your trade has them, the phone number you want customers to ring, the email you want quotes sent to.
  • The suburbs or areas you cover. A list, not "everywhere".
  • Your services. The jobs you actually want more of. Not every job you've ever done.
  • Your logo, if you have one. Any format. A photo of it on the van is a start.
  • Your domain login, if you already own a domain. If you don't, we'll register one.
  • A few sentences about you. How long you've been going, who's in the business, what you do differently. Your words. We'll make them read well.
  • Any prices you want on the site. Only if you list them. Plenty of trades don't, and that's fine.

If something on this list doesn't apply, skip it. If you're missing a logo or a domain, that's fine, we sort both.

What if I don't like the first draft?

You've seen the homepage before you pay anything.

The mockup is free. Before you spend a cent, we build your homepage from your form and your photos and send it to you. If it's not right, you've lost nothing but the 20 minutes on the form. If it is, $990 gets the other four pages built to match.

That means by the time you're checking the full draft in step 3, you've already approved the look. What's left is words, photos and details, and those get changed as many times as it takes to get them right. "Swap that photo, cut that paragraph, my number's wrong" is normal. It's what step 3 is for.

If partway through you decide you want a different look altogether, say so. We'd rather redo the homepage than put up something you'll never send anyone to. And if after a second go it's still not landing, we'll say so plainly and point you somewhere that's a better fit. We're not interested in taking $990 for a site you don't like.
