A website for roofers: free homepage first, then $990 once
A roof is a big spend and most people can not see theirs. After a storm or a leak stain, they search and ring two or three roofers. The one with a site that shows proof gets the quote. I build yours free first.
What roofer customers look for before they ring
I have built websites for 20 years. For a roofer, people check the same five things, usually on a phone, usually in a hurry.
- Can you fix a leak fast? "Leak repairs" and a call button near the top. Storm damage does not wait for business hours.
- What do you actually do? Repairs, tile restoration, Colorbond re-roofs, gutters. Customers want to see your list.
- Will I get a fixed price? A line on how you quote, like "a fixed price before we start". It takes the fear out of ringing.
- Are you insured and licensed? Your licence number and a line on insurance. Working at heights is serious, and customers know it.
- Can I see your work? Before and after photos of real roofs. Nothing sells a restoration like a roof that went from stained to clean.
What your roofer website includes
Five pages: Home, About, Services, Projects and Contact. I write the words for your trade and use your photos. The $990 covers all of this.
- A homepage that leads with leak repairs and storm damage, plus your phone number in one tap
- Services for repairs, restoration, re-roofs, gutters, whatever you do
- Space for before and after photos on a Projects page
- Your licence number and insurance line in the footer of every page
- A suburb list written for Google, plus a quote form that lands in your inbox
Hosting is free, on your own Cloudflare account. I set up your domain in your name too. You only pay the registrar for the name itself, about $100 to $150 over five years.
A real example
What a website costs over five years
The sticker price is not the real price. Add up five years of fees.
| Agency | $3,000 to $10,000 from an agency |
|---|---|
| Rental website | $99 to $299 a month, forever |
| Facebook page only | Free, but you do not own it |
| Simple Websites for Business | $990 once, plus about $100 to $150 domain renewals |
A rental at $99 a month is $5,940 over five years. At $299 it is $17,940. Stop paying and the site goes. Mine stays, because it is yours.
My guarantee
I keep editing until you are happy with the site. Edits for the first 30 days after launch are free. After that, small edits are $60 each, or $290 a year for unlimited small edits. I reply within one business day.
